Multipurpose rate-of-turn indicator for sea and river vessels indicates angular rate of a vessel relative to one of the vessel coordinate axes, plots values and turn rate directions on display screen, as well as transfers angular rate signals to motion control system and other users.
Depending on target accuracy, an optic fiber gyroscope, as well as a micromechanical gyroscope, to be used as an angular rate sensor.
